North-East India is the eastern most region of India consisting
of the contiguous Seven Sister States and the state of Sikkim.
The region is k nown
for its unique culture, handicrafts, martial arts, and scenic
beauty. It consists of
8 Indian states:
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland,
Sikkim and Tripura. Each state is a traveller’s paradise, with
picturesque hills and green meadows which shelters thousand of
species of flora and fauna. In addition, the states provide
scope for angling, boating, rafting, trekking and hiking.
Besides, there are a number of wild life sanctuaries and
national parks where rare animals, birds and plants which will
surely provide fascinating insight to the visitors.

Day 01:
Arrive Delhi. Transfer to Hotel for overnight.
Day 02: Delhi
A M visit New Delhi, where you shall visit the Humayun's Tomb,
The Parliament Buildings, India Gate and Qutub Minar. P M visit
Old Delhi. Here you shall visit The Jama Ma~jid Mosque, The Red
Fort, Streets of Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat. Night at the Hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Bagdogra - Darjeeling
Morning flight to Bagdogra, continue drive to Darjeeling. Night
at the Hotel.
Day 04: Darjeeling

Am visit Tiger Hill, Aloobari monastery and the Botanical
Garden. PM visit HMI and evening free to walk through the mall.
Day 05: Darjeeling - Pemayangtse
Am leave for Pemayangtse (perfect sublime lotus) along a very
scenic road. On arrival check in at Hotel. PM visit Sikkim's
second oldest Monastery with an exceptional collection of
religious artworks including an exquisite wooden sculpture on
the top floor depicting the heavenly Palace of Uru Rimppoche.
The Rabdanste, the ruined Palace of the 17th18th century Capital
of Sikkim. Night at the Hotel.
Day 06: Pemayangtse - Yuksum
Am leave for Yuksum, where the first Chogyal was crowned in
1641. On arrival check in at Hotel. Night at the Hotel.
Day 07: Yuksum - Gangtok
Am leave for Gangtok or "High Hill" with fine views of the
kangchendzonga Range. On arrival check in at Hotel. Visit the
Enchey Monastery which is 200 years old. The site was blessed by
the great tantric master, Lama Druptab Karpa, known for his
flying powers. It is the site of religious dances held in the
12th month of the Tibetian Calendar. Research Institute of
Tibetology, famous in the world for research activities on the
language and culture of Tibet. PurbaChorten, has one of the most
important Stupa in Sikkim and its golden apex is visible from
many points in Gangtok. Orchid sanctuary, has over 200 species
of orchids amidst beautiful landscape. Deer Park, a popular view
point has Deers and Red Pandas and other Animals. A big statue
of Buddha adorns the park and is replica of the image in Sarnath.

Day 08: Gangtok - Rumtek
Am leave for Rumtek. On arival check in at Hotel. Night at the
Hotel.
Day 09: Rumtek
Am visit the Rumtek Monastry built in the 4th Chigyal was
damaged in an earthquake and was rebuilt. The 16th century
Gyalwa H.H Karmapa, after he escaped from Tibet, settled and
lived in this Monastary till completion of Dharma Chakra centre
nearby. Night at the Hotel.
Day 10: Rumtek - Kalimpong
Am leave for Kalimpong. It has been, once, the meeting point of
the "Three Closed Land" on the trade route to Tibet, Bhutan and
Nepal. On arrival check in at Hotel. PM visit the traditional
market where every wednesday and saturday, draws colourful
villagers who come to sell fruits, unfamiliar vegetables,
traditional medicines, wollen cloth, yarn and much more.
Kalimpong excels in producing Orchids, Amaryllis, Roses, Cacti,
Dahlias and Gladioli. O/N at the Hotel.
Day 11: Kalimpong
Am visit the Monasteries, the oldest, the Thongsa Gompa, the
Tharpa Choling and the Dr
Graham's homes, which was started by the missionary Dr. John
Anderson in 1900 when he admitted 6 needy children. Night at the
Hotel.
Day 12: Kalimpong - Bagdogra - Delhi
Am, leave for Bagrogra. Noon transfer to domestic Airport to
connect flight to Delhi. On arrival transfer to city for final
shopping.
Day 13:
Transfer to the International Airport for flight to Home
destination.
